well hi!

my name is rin mitchell and i am a 21-year-old queer artist currently enrolled at kent state university for a dual bfa degree in painting and art education! i live and work in kent, ohio, and i plan to graduate from kent state university in the fall of 2027. i create works that contemplate the modern horrors of a hyper-digitized and hyper-consumerist society through a playful, abstracted visual language best represented through painting and drawing. i like to laugh and play and i hope you have fun on my beautiful website!!!!!!!!
